At AEC Site Solutions, protecting our people and the public is the most important measure of our performance. We hold firmly to our conviction that every team member must return home safely at the end of every shift—no exceptions, no excuses. Safety forms the foundation of our company’s success.

Those who are part of AEC Site Solutions know our safety culture demands 100% buy-in. Every member of our team is held accountable and responsible for each other’s safety—from the most entry-level position to the company’s President and CEO. We empower everyone, regardless of their position, to be a safety leader by speaking up so that safety is never compromised.

AEC Site Solutions assumes responsibility for the implementation of a comprehensive safety approach on every project we pursue. We continually develop and improve high corporate expectation to provide the safest work environment for our project personnel. We recognize our obligation to provide a workplace free from all recognized hazards. To maintain the safest conditions for AEC Site Solutions projects, we have full-time safety personnel dedicated to all projects.

We are convinced that a successful safety program requires a specific plan and a method for obtaining the cooperation of everyone on the job, from corporate management to the newest worksite employee. Success depends on four essential elements: leadership, safe working conditions, safe working practices, and a strategic team effort.

Training

Communication

Safety training starts on day one of employment and continues until the day of retirement. We believe there is always room for improvement and refresher training. Training includes specific operations and general safe practices.

Communication

All team members are encouraged to contribute to safety meetings held by their supervisors. Employees are asked to discuss the work for that day and identify potential safety hazards and how to perform the work safely. This is a chance to identify the work for that day and address potential safety issues before going to work.

We continue to add state-of-the-art vehicles to our fleet with advanced features, cameras, and other technological advancements to help ensure safe operations.

At AEC Site Solutions, we ensure all team members are not only provided with up-to-date PPE, but also are held accountable to wearing it whenever necessary. Proper use of PPE sets the tone for all safety.

STEP is a world-class safety management system that improves safety performance among participants. Safety measures are evaluated with the goal of enhancing safety programs to reduce jobsite incidents. AEC Site Solutions is proud to have achieved Diamond Status through the ABC STEP Program. We strive to maintain a high level of safety throughout our company.
